Outside
The Sawley Arms Cottages are stone built within the grounds of a small country inn and restaurant, located a short walk from Fountains Abbey. The whole of which spells quality, comfort, peace and tranquillity.
There are many accolades for the food and ambience of the of the Sawley arms which has been owned and run by Mrs Hawes for over 40 years.
Each cottage has its own patio area on the edge of the gardens, winner of the “Yorkshire in bloom” nine times.
This shows the patio for the "Curlews" and the view from its patio towards the gardens and fish pond.
Each cottage has a large comfortable lounge and private dining area. The lounge is perfect for relaxing after a day enjoying the local attractions and is equipped with a television and video player.
The Curlews is the ground floor cottage and has a twin bedded room with a walk-in wardrobe. The large power-shower in the en-suite bathroom and is disabled friendly by design.
The Swallows is the upstairs cottage and also has a twin bedded room with walk-in wardrobe, jacuzzi bath and shower in the en-suite bathroom.
