The Sawley Arms restaurant and holiday cottages sits on the eastern edge of the Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty in the centre of the village of Sawley, close to Ripon, Harrogate and Pateley Bridge and closer still to Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal water gardens.
A perfect base for visiting Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Pateley Bridge, Ripon, Harrogate and Nidderdale.
Approaching the 42nd year under the management of its owner Mrs June Hawes together with Robin her son and Nicky her daughter in law wish you a very warm welcome. Relax step back in time and enjoy the nostalgia of our famous restaurant and cottages.
Treat yourself to the fine food and hospitality enjoyed by so many over the years including the man who created James Herriot "the worlds favourite vet" namely Mr Alf Wight OBE and England's most famous fast bowler; Fred Trueman OBE of course.

The Sawley Arms is set in stunning award winning extensive gardens individually designed and created by the proprietor over the last 39 years.
Open daily from 11.30 to 3pm and 6.30pm to 11.00.
Holiday Cottages are available from £260.00 per week.
The Sawley Arms boasts five small intimate dining rooms; plus the conservatory and in the summer months lunch may be taken in the gardens.
